At VTC we take the time necessary to assist our customers in selecting the best tires to meet their individual riding needs. A lot more goes into selecting the best tire to meet your individual riding needs than just matching up tire sizes, oftentimes we see customers who have overspent on the tires they are currently running, we often see tires on touring bikes that do not meet the load/weight requirements for that specific model, as well as touring heavy duty tires on smaller bikes which affect the ride and handling.

Many tires in the same sizes are either radial or bias, single or dual compound, and vary in load and speed ratings. Having those factors wrong and or mixed can be a major safety issue. It is important to first select the tires that meet the required safety specs of your motorcycle, then narrow your selection down based on riding style.
